In 2006, St. Johns Centre was appointed caterer to the Taylor Park Boathouse Cafe by St. Helens Council.
The Boathouse Cafe is the perfect place to compliment your visit to Taylor Park, with a refreshing menu of food and drink on sale. Pleasantly situated at the lakeside and close to one of the car parks, our indoor and outdoor seating means a visit is possible whatever the weather.
Taylor Park is home to woodland and lakeside walks, children's play areas, and a quarry garden. It is a little over one mile from St. Helens Town Centre.
Summer Opening Hours
Mon-Sun 10:00am - 4:30pm (occasionally extended in good weather)
Reduced opening hours will operate in the winter months
Boathouse Cafe opening is subject to availability of volunteers.

Volunteers Needed
The Tea Room provides an income to St. Johns Centre which helps us keep the centre running so that we can continue to provide the services and facilities to the community that we have done for the past five years. In order to maximise the income available for this, we use volunteers to run the cafe.
If you can offer any volunteer time, you will be helping to keep St. Johns Centre open, thereby ensuring this very valuable service continues. You can expect a very pleasurable working environment with like minded people and serving the people who use the park. Training will be provided.
If you are able to volunteer or to discuss the role further, please ring
John Ingham on 01744 758991.
