Welcome to St John the Evangelist's Church, Ravenhead

Based in the Anglican parish of Ravenhead, in the town of St Helens in north-western England, St John's Church runs a number of church and community activities.

The building is in use almost daily for church services, community groups, private functions, meetings and numerous other activities.

At the heart of the church is a love for God which through our various events, we hope to share with those we come into contact with. Our shared faith in Christ brings together a wide range of ages, backgrounds and traditions.

Each Sunday, we hold services rooted in some of the oldest traditions of the Church of England alongside services that use the latest styles of liturgy and music.

We hope you can find a home at St John's Church and the on-site community centre, and we will do our best to make you feel welcome. You are warmly invited to come along on a Sunday morning to our services or to activities in the St John's Centre.
