As the main parish church of Ravenhead, St. Johns is a recognisable and familiar feature to many in the community.

Referred to by some as 'Ravenhead Church', St. Johns was built inexpensively in the 1860s by skilled workmen using local materials. The impressive beamed roof means that pillars are not needed in the church, so a full view is available from every pew.
