Research and writing are underway towards the publication of a book detailing the history of St. John the Evangelist with Emmanuel, Ravenhead.

As the work nears its completion, it promises to be a comprehensive and intruiging account of the over 140 year history of the parish and its churches, schools and community centre.

We're still appealing for any help you can give us towards the book - do you know something of our history that might otherwise be lost?

Perhaps you have old church magazines or newspaper cuttings you would be willing to donate? Perhaps you have photographs of your school days in the now closed St. Johns Ravenhead Church of England Primary School? Or how about recollections, memories and anecdotes?
