Confirmation is a special service in which people who are ready to make their own declaration of faith are able to do so. Those Baptised as children will be able to take on for themselves the vows made on their behalf at that time by their parents and godparents.

To put yourself forward for Confirmation, you will first need to have been Baptised into the Christian faith. For many, this will have been done when they were children, but teenagers and adults who are ready to make vows of faith for themselves will be able to be Baptised in preparation for their Confirmation.

Confirmation services normally take place once a year and rotate around the five churches of the Eccleston Team. Occasionally, the service may take place at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.

Should you wish to present yourself for Confirmation, please make contact with us so that we can give you more information and arrange for you to be part of a Confirmation Preparation at the appropriate time.
