Advertisements have been placed in the national church press as St. Johns and Emmanuel continue to seek their new Vicar.
Since Rev. Roy Doran's departure at the beginning of 2009 to his new position at St. John the Evangelist, Knotty Ash, applicants have been sought primarily from within the Diocese of Liverpool. Now, the advert in The Church Times looks to publicise the position to potential applicants from across the Church of England.
The next Vicar of Ravenhead will be the 11th in the 140 year history of the parish, since Rev. Richard Moore M.A. was installed in 1869.
