Visitors to Emmanuel will be able to enjoy their activities in a brightened environment after a team of young people have finished redecorating the building.

The work has been ongoing for the last fortnight and will culminate in an event held at Emmanuel today when the team members, who are taking part in a Personal Development Course with the Prince's Trust, will display their work to invited personal and professional guests.

Team Leader Shaun Moss explains that the aim of this section of the project is to benefit people in the area by carrying out such improvements to a building utilised by the community, while giving participants the opportunity to experience a real-live working environment.

Representatives of the Parochial Church Council will be present at the event today to pass on thanks to the team on behalf of the congregations of St. Johns and Emmanuel. Don't forget to pop over to Emmanuel soon to see their hard work first hand!
