Could you help us as we research our church history?

Over the past twelve months, research has been taking place in preparation for the publication of a book detailing the history of
St. Johns and Emmanuel Churches, their clergy, parishioners, schools and activities etc.

Many facts have already been, and continue to be uncovered while looking through historical records, but now we're asking for help - do you have any information, memories, anecdotes or recollections that could tell us something about our past?

Maybe you have kept old church magazines or newspaper cuttings? Do you have photographs, pictures, drawings or paintings? Or perhaps you have kept souvenirs, gifts, awards and certificates? If you have anything at all which you think may be of interest, please contact us by sending an email to history@stjohnsravenhead.org.uk or by dropping details into church.

Obviously, we can't guarantee that everything will be included and we have to be careful with pieces that may be covered by copyright or affect peoples' privacy - but please do get in touch if you think you have something we could use.
