The Church Roof appeal is set to be closed following eight weeks of fundraising which have seen generous donations given towards the repair work.
The appeal will close at the end of September, while a grand total will be announced during October.

Seven weeks into the Church Roof Appeal and we're getting closer to the full amount needed.
Donations so far total £2,621 and though more is still needed, we continue to thank everyone who has donated for their amazing support.

The total raised towards the Church Roof appeal has lept to £2,451, it was announced this morning.
£1,251 of this is expected to be eligable for Gift Aid, meaning the church can claim extra funds from tax already paid, at no further expense to the donors.
The work on the roof is ongoing and the appeal remains open for further donations, while the church expresses its sincere thanks to those who have donated.

Almost £1,600 has been raised towards the Church Roof Appeal, the actual figure now standing at £1,592.
£1,180 of the total amount is eligable for 'Gift Aid,' meaning the church can reclaim a significant amount from tax already paid by donors.

The sum raised for the Roof Appeal now stands at £1,277.
£900 of this amount, which does not include today's donations, can see Gift Aid reclaimed.

Generous donations have been given towards the on-going Roof Repair Appeal for St. Johns Church.
The appeal, which opened on 1st August has already raised £1,042 of the estimated £2,500 needed to carry out the required work.
The church is able to claim Gift Aid on £595 of the money given so far, enabling us to claim money back from the Treasury on Income Tax paid at no further cost to the donor.
The amounts given above do not include donations handed in at this morning's services.
The church extends its thanks to those who have given to the appeal so far.
