Our great value room hire facilities in our modern St John's Centre in the Ravenhead area of St Helens, Merseyside are the ideal venue for your events - we've hosted community activities, business meetings, conferences, performances, rehearsals, children's birthday parties and more!

We're just a short journey from the centre of St Helens, easily reachable by the road network. Many will find us a comfortable walking distance from Thatto Heath railway station on the Merseyrail City Line, and from major bus routes such as those served by the 10 and the 10A.
We've got free on-site parking protected by CCTV, accessible entrances, modern toilet and baby change facilities and a comfortable waiting area for your events. There's also multimedia facilities including projectors, screens and audio amplification.
We try and keep our rates as low as possible to fulfil the centre's aim of providing for all in our community. We have held our room hire prices since 2013, however from 1st May 2022, we have made some revisions and so the following rates apply. You can now make online enquiries regarding the hire and availability of our rooms.

The Main Hall at St John's Centre was completed in 2005 as part of the extension that completed the centre project.

Memorial Hall

Opened in the early 1920s as the church's parish hall and housing our war memorial tablet, the room was refurbished and modernised as part of the St John's Centre building project in the early 2000s.
The Memorial Hall retains its sense of dignity and history and makes a good space for live performances, meetings, seminars and other activities.
