Music, in whatever style, can enhance our worship if done well. It can make or break the experience of the liturgy.

This day workshop, run jointly by the Diocesan Liturgy and Worship Forum and the North West Area Royal School of Church Music offers practical experience of using music well in worship, both for those with a great deal of experience and those who have little or none.

After a short plenary introduction, a series of elective, hands-on worskshops will offer a variety of experiences. After lunch, there will be short rehearsal and then some of the music worked on during the day will be used in a final act of worship.

Clergy, lay people, organists and choirmasters (and choirs) are all offered an enjoyable and stimulating day.

Note: This event is organised by the Diocese of Liverpool and The Diocese of Blackburn in partnership with the North-West Area branch of the Royal School of Church Music. All enquires should be directed to these organisations.
